Expats International Photo Contest is pleased to announce the opening of reception for submissions for the 2015 edition. Expatriates and world travelers, professional or amateur Photographers can now submit their photos to the one and only international photography competition dedicated to people living far from their homeland. The entries will be submitted here from 10 April 2015 to 10 june 2015.

The Theme: Color of Life
“Color of life” is an outlook on what is important to one’s life. Something that rejuvenates and inspires you every day. This theme gives every interested participant the freedom to be creative enough to take beautiful images inspired by a diverse array of avenues.

Capture the moments that make you happy, the situations that brighten up your life. These should be moments that tell a story of what the world around you looks like or means to you.

Submission specifications
Submitted Images should be of .jpg format with a maximum size of 2mb. Winners may be asked to send high resolution photographies and more details of their photographies for a better print quality for the exhibition in Paris. Name your files with your full names before uploading your photographies. You will only be able to submit up to 2 images. The photographies must be previously unpublished. They must not include any copyright protected materials and they must be portrait (vertical) format photos.

10 February 2015: Contest Theme announcement
10 April 2015: Call for entries open.
10 June 2015: Call for entries close.
30 June 2015: Online jury Selection opens.
30 July 2015: End of the Online jury Selection.
10 October 2015: Live Jury Selection in Paris.
20 November 2015: Competition results Announced and an exhibition is launched a few days later in Paris.

Results and Awards
The 50 best selected photos will be announced and published on our website and the ones of our partners as soon as they’ve been selected by our jury in Paris. An exhibition of all awarded (50 best selected) works will be held in a, yet to be communicated, venue and date in Paris in December 2015. Find more information on the awards here.

By submitting an entry, participants automatically agree to publish their photos through a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 license. Find more our copyrights here.

Right to cancel
Expats International Photo Contest reserves the right to cancel or suspend the contest at its own discretion if not capable of continuing as planned for any reason that goes beyond its control.

If the competition is cancelled, participants will be informed via social media first with more details following a few hours later via email and blog.

Modifying the competition rules
Expats International Photo Contest reserves the right to modify the contest rules. If this happens it will be notified on the website and social media.

Expats International Photo Contest will take no responsibility for the repercussions of any photography submitted to the contest, nor any problems incurred by the entrants while participating in the competition.
